Cara created the Sippie Clippie™ when her first son was about 6 months old. He thought it was super hilarious to throw his cup and it drove Cara crazy. She went out to buy a solution to her problem and everything that she bought did not work.

Cara wanted a clamp that was sturdy, so that no sippy cup or bottle could fall to the ground. She went out to buy a clamp, drilled a hole in it. She then attached a cord and a hair tie at the end! Voila! Her invention worked. She took it out and received compliments on it. That is when she knew more parents needed the Sippie Clippie™.

The Flusher Blocker™ became a reality because of a necessity as well. Both of Cara’s sons were/are terrified of the automatic toilet. So, while she would put one hand over the sensor, use the other hand to take down her son’s pants, put toilet paper on the toilet, help him on the toilet, still holding the other hand over the sensor and putting her son on the toilet—just to keep it from flushing! It was such a nightmare and she was super tired of the frustration.

Cara went home one day to buy something to block the sensor and to her amazement, there was nothing out there! So, once again she created something to help her boys to not feel scared of the automatic toilet when they were out.
